Mark Juneau Jr., M.D.

Dr. Juneau founded Jefferson Orthopedic Clinic in 1978. He is a graduate of the University of New Orleans and LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed an Orthopedic Surgery residency at LSU / Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He is the past president of the LSU Medical Alumni Association, Greater New Orleans Orthopedic Society and the Louisiana Orthopedic Association. Dr. Juneau was honored as LSU Medical School Alumnus of the Year in 2009. He is also a member of the AOA Medical Honor Society, Clinical Orthopedic Society, and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He is the founder and president of Tiger Bones, which is an LSU association where LSU orthopedic surgeons help to raise funds for the education of orthopedic surgeons. He is proficient in a variety of arthroscopic and general orthopedic procedures.

He was selected as “Best Doctors” in New Orleans Magazine and Louisiana Life Magazine every year since its inception in 1996. He has served on the state boards for Medicare and workers compensation for the state of Louisiana. He is the on board of directors and treasurer for the LSU Health Network Foundation Board.
